Diablo Cody on Ellen Page’s Performance in Juno

Posted on December 9th, 2007 in Juno · Quotes
“Ellen’s very humble and claims that everything about the character was there in the script, but she really made the character her own.”

“I would never have thought of putting Juno in an argyle sweater vest, but now I think it’s awesome. I love the walk that she invented for Juno. All the mannerisms - the stammering, the waving arms, the frantic energy - they all came from Ellen. Those weren’t on the page. She embodies Juno so seamlessly that I think a lot of people are going to think she’s like that in real life.”

I loved her in that movie. She was so funny and so cute something totally different then the cheerleader role types that are in pretty much every movie.
