OMG Congratulations Ellen! When Juno first started getting a lot of press I thought, heh, that’s Jim Lahey’s daughter.
What an accomplishment, I’m so thrilled for Ellen Page and saddened that this is the year all the award shows are downsized due to writer’s strike. It’s okay, I’m sure this won’t be the last of your nominations.

This was really an impressive movie and Ellen Page was outstanding. She was very funny, in a wise kind of way. She was so real in the conveyance of her character that I was totally taken in. I haven’t seen the other actresses, but if Ellen doesn’t win, I still think it will be a huge mistake. This film goes in my best category with wonderful writing and believable portrayals. Every character was real and there were no bad guys in this movie. It helped one empathize with every angle presented. Thanks for doing what you do. I really enjoyed it.

As A senior and a life long Canadian I do not think I have seen a performance as profound in a movie as Ellen Page. I am personally proud of her and her obvious abilities which,at such an early age will dominate the other female actors for some time to come. I have no doubt that if justice exists then the oscar is hers. Stay the course Ellen
