Ellen Page to Write Comedy Series for HBO

In a recent news update by The Hollywood Reporter, it was revealed that Ellen Page along with Alia Shawkat and Sean Tillman her co-stars from the movie Whip it have teamed up to write a comedy series for HBO. The series is titled as “Stitch N’ Bitch” which is a comedy and follows two cool hipster girls who relocate from Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn to Silver Lake in Los Angeles in the hope of becoming artists – of any sort.

Whether the three actors would be starring in the single-camera comedy is a decision that would be taken later, but for now they are busy writing the script and executive producing it. The show is cited as funny enough with no other description given and the title is not to be tied to a certain knitting movement going on. Fans are quite enthused by this upcoming series as they want to see these actors on the small screen. Also they are excited to see something that is not related to vampires and all and see knitting get love. The two cool girl characters who are in a quest of creating their own shows and whipping up what’s beneath the hat of the business is fast catching up.

With this new role that Ellen Page has put herself into, she has turned into a TV writer and producer. This brings in another impressive passage to her already impressive resume. The Oscar nominee for her breakthrough performance in “Juno” is quite excited about the project.
